Zenith Delft Green Vintage Table Lamps – Juliana & Bernhard
Meet Juliana & Bernhard, a one-of-a-kind pair of table lamps lovingly handcrafted by Amitābha Studio from a pair of hand-painted Zenith Gouda vases, dating to the 1950s–1960s. They feature a unique Delft Green palette—a rare decorative reinterpretation of traditional Delftware that became especially popular in the postwar period. Hand-painted in tonal shades of green, the lush scrolling floral motifs reflect the charm and craftsmanship for which Zenith pottery is celebrated.
The vase bases are complemented by satin lampshades in a soft salmon pink, handmade in an atelier near Amsterdam, and finished with green French braided trim that subtly echoes the tones of the ceramic bases, adding a playful decorative touch. The lamps also feature custom-cut brass tops that exactly match the octagonal shape of the vases, as well as matching green cords.
This pair offers rich design versatility. They would feel equally at home in a Paris-style apartment layered with antiques and curated textures, a Grandmillennial bedroom filled with florals and vintage pieces, or a Palm Beach sitting room with lacquered bamboo and pastels. Their saturated palette and ornamental lines also suit Maximalist and Hollywood Regency interiors. Wherever they are placed, these lamps bring warmth, personality, and timeless decorative interest to a space.
Each lamp has been created without altering or damaging the original vases in any way.
Height: 60 cm (24 in) with lampshade
Diameter: 28 cm (11 in) with lampshade

About Zenith
Zenith Gouda, formally known as Plateelbakkerij Zenith, was one of the Netherlands’ most respected pottery producers of the 20th century. Founded in the 18th century and based in Gouda, the company became known for its finely executed Delftware and hand-painted decorative ceramics. By the 1950s and ’60s, Zenith was exploring new palettes—including rare green-on-white Delft styles—while maintaining its signature craftsmanship. The studio closed its doors in 1984, but its legacy lives on in collectible pieces like these, prized for their artistry, heritage, and enduring charm.
