Introducing Indigo & Blanca, a one-of-a-kind pair of table lamps lovingly handcrafted from vintage, Louis XV model, Royal Delft Blue vases. These unique table lamps feature vases that were hand-painted by Royal Delft master painters in 1978 and 1979, as indicated by the markings on the bottom. They are paired with custom, classic, oval hand-pleated lampshades in a cobalt blue along with matching cords, making them perfect for adding distinctive charm to your living room or bedroom.

Based on Louis XV historical models, the vase bases have traditional baluster shapes, scrolling C-curve rocaille cartouches, and eight-sides, painted in classic Delft blue colors with intricate floral motifs. De Porceleyne Fles (later known as Royal Delft), one of the oldest and most prestigious Dutch Delftware manufacturers, adopted the Louis XV style in the late 19th century to meet the growing demand for ornamental pieces in this style.

These vases are a beautiful example of the fusion of two traditional art forms —Delftware and the Louis XV style—a valuable piece of history, and ideal for any space needing vintage lighting.

De Porceleyne Fles, later given the distinction of Koninklijke or Royal, known now as Royal Delft, is a Dutch manufacturer of Delft Blue pottery, or Delfts Blauw aardewerk, headquartered in Delft, the Netherlands. It is the only remaining ceramics factory out of 32 that were established in Delft during the 17th century. Founded in 1653, it has been active for over 360 years without interruption. Royal Delft is not only the oldest surviving producer of Delftware, but one that is highly respected for its artistry. The motifs on Delft Blue ceramics find their roots in the Chinese porcelain from the Ming and K‟ang Hsi dynasties.
