Where Spanish lamps shine
Spanish lamps bring a very specific kind of warmth to a room. Glazed greens from Granada, cobalt and white from Manises, and earthier tones from Teruel all read differently from Dutch blue or English chinoiserie. A single vintage Spanish ceramic lamp can shift the feeling of a space in a way that a neutral lamp never will.
Our Spanish ceramic table lamps work beautifully in Spanish Revival homes, Mediterranean villas and relaxed modern coastal interiors. A bold Manises piece can act as a Spanish table lamp that anchors a console or sideboard, while a quieter Fajalauza or Teruel base brings texture and depth to a bedroom or study. These are the kinds of Spanish lamps that feel collected over time rather than bought all at once.
For clients who love layered, story-rich spaces, vintage Spanish ceramic lamps sit comfortably alongside art, textiles and books instead of feeling like matching catalog products. They’re especially at home in rooms where you want colour and history without shouting.
Our Curated Collection of Spanish Lamps
Amitābha Studio’s Spanish lamp collection celebrates the rich ceramic traditions of Spain—from the Hispano-Moresque revivals of Manises and Teruel to the modernist studios of Galicia. Most pieces begin as vintage vases, carefully adapted into one-of-a-kind Spanish ceramic table lamps; others are original vintage Spanish lamps updated with new shades and wiring. Each is finished in our Sitges studio, where heritage ceramics meet contemporary design.

Our Spanish lamps draw on ceramics from Granada, Valencia, Teruel, Galicia and beyond. Fajalauza greens, Nasrid-inspired patterns from Granada, floral Manises glazes from Valencia, and bold modernist pieces from studios like Otero Regal in Galicia all bring their own character. Many of our Spanish ceramic lamps start as vases, jars or jars with applied flowers, which we carefully convert into Spanish table lamps without destroying the original form.
Each vintage Spanish ceramic lamp is wired with new components, balanced, and paired with a shade chosen specifically for that glaze and silhouette. Some become strong, sculptural statement table lamps; others are softer pieces that slip easily into coastal, Mediterranean or Spanish Revival interiors. The goal is always the same: to let the original Spanish pottery speak, while making it practical and safe as everyday lighting.
Because these traditions span centuries, the collection naturally ranges from more formal, historic Spanish lamps to playful mid-century shapes. We work slowly and in small numbers, so every Spanish lamp we release feels intentional — a bridge between regional craft and contemporary design.
