Royal Delft Delvert Vintage Table Lamp, Liberty London Lampshade – Juno
Introducing Juno, a one-of-a-kind lamp meticulously handcrafted from a vintage Royal Delft (De Porceleyne Fles) Delvert vase. The Delvert line, a fusion of the French word for green (vert) and the city of Delft, was an innovative creation by Dutch painter Herman Sanders. Characterized by its rare blue-green hue and hand-painted designs sealed with a milky glaze, the Delvert series was short-lived, existing only from 1968 to 1976 due to challenges in maintaining the unique color during firing.
Named after the goddess Juno, who is also associated with the peacock, this lamp is a rare find. It's paired with an ovoid-shaped contemporary lampshade crafted from Liberty of London’s Hera Plume fabric in Slipper Pink. This Italian-woven, piece-dyed jacquard weave fabric blends fine detail and rich color effects, making it a striking counterpart to the rare Delvert vase.
